		<description>Yes, I am a lifelong member of the Church, returned missionary, current bishop, etc. (and a scientist, if that makes a difference) and I believe the flood was indeed confined to a local region (not the MIddle East, though: remember that Noah was apparently in the New World).</description>

		<description>Pardon my naïveté, but are there actually LDS who deny a global flood? If not, I am confused by the last section of the blog. If so, are you sure such people are actually LDS? 


I am a lifelong Mormon, and I can assure you we believe the Noachian flood was indeed global.</description>
